I’m excited about the draft discussions as well. That’s definitely a weak area for me since I really don’t even get into college baseball much. Actually, as far as amateur baseball is concerned, local high school baseball (Illinois, mostly northern, chicago area Illinois) is the expanse of my knowledge and that’s not much. So, I’m really looking forward to being more versed in this area.

As with the previous comments and those that I presume will follow, thanks for all of your hard work on this site. Almost everyday it is the first site that I check to keep informed and entertained.

The increased draft info and discussion is very timely with a new scouting director and the extra picks. With the changes in the MLB draft rules, I believe that the Cards will be the last team that accumulates this many extra picks in any one draft. They have a chance with those extra picks and continued good drafting, signing of players from other countries, and, of course, a continued good development program, to set up the system for the forseeable years.
