Springfield vs. Frisco, 7:08pm – Scott Gorgen

Palm Beach: No Scheduled Game

Quad Cities vs. Kane County, 7:00pm – Tyrell Jenkins

    I’m gonig to Quad Cities today and will most likely stay for the whole series. I’ll report on some players.

    It would appear that Tyrell got little fielding support (including his own gaffe) and choked up 5 runs in the 2d (only 1 earned…but 2 triples). Before the inning was over Robert Stock gave up 4 more runs all earned including a grand slam. Quad Cities, in the spirit of 2011 never said die and got the game back to within 1 but couldn’t come all the way back.

    There was some pretty good bullpen relief from Cole, Villanueva and Miranda. Two innings each. But goodness, 5 errors in the first 4 innings did them in.
