Anybody familiar with Billy Hamilton in the Reds system? Yahoo sports has a piece on him.

Hamilton is enormous fun to watch. He’s reminiscent of Vince Coleman (for those of us of a certain age) but with the potential to be a better all-around player, and apparently without some of Coleman’s social issues. Scary thought: if anything, he is probably FASTER than Coleman. I wish we had one.
And if they moved him to center field he could be stealing 100 bases per season for their major league team starting in 2013.
I don’t think anybody really thinks he’s a shortstop. Could be a star for at least the first four or five seasons of his major league career, even at centerfield.
Speeds usually the first thing to go with most players, but when its combined with a really good hit tool, it can be dazzling to watch early.
He’s blocked at 2B by Phillips. But he is an interesting talent. Very good speed.
I’m of the age that we were saying Vince Coleman reminded us of Lou Brock when Vince came up. Just in his swagger on the base paths, not in the style of running. Lou went in spikes first, Vince did the head first slide like young Hamilton. Coleman was unbelievably quick in his prime (pre-killer tarp) and was 1985 rookie of the year so it would be quite an accomplishment if Billy Hamilton could reach that level.
It seems like Shelby is improving every start overall but hope he has a great one tonight lots of potential.
Im pulling for Shelby.
Me to good kid very good talent and I hope will have a great career with STL.
