Huh? He stayed down with the collision and had the medical team check his right side but by the end of it he was up and walking it off and eventually jogged off the field.

Taveras has been known to … overreact … at times that is very consistent with his age. Personal conduct on the field is a message that the organization has been working to deliver to Taveras.

Martinez numbers are better so far this season. He’s getting more contact out’s which is hopefully a sign of polishing up. Hope he can keep the success up.

I think we ought to clear up the expression of beaning. Back in the day beaning was when you got your bell rung with a baseball in the ear. Not when you were hit in the hip pocket. IMHO!
