Other than injury, it’s hard to think why Adams would be promoted before September. Craig and berkman are pretty unassailable as first base options, and carpenter looks fairly capable as depth.

I’ve always been a little skeptical of wild pitch numbers in the minors, especially the low minors. How many of those pitches would have been caught or blocked by an MLB caliber catcher? I guess the only way to know for sure would be to actually watch the game.

You kind of have to wonder about the strike zone in a game that had that many walks on both sides.
