The question kind of sounds silly, but you almost have to take it seriously. Are the Cards suffering these injuries at the same rate as everyone else? I would never tell a player not to dive, but there is an art to it. You can’t do anything about walls, those just happen. But dives in the OF or into a base shouldn’t be issues unless it is a freak accident. Maybe we just have freaky bad luck?

Serious question, do the Cardinals need to teach it’s players how to dive?

Pham seperated his shoulder diving for a ball in Spring Training. He then reinjured himself diving back into 1st base. Now Tilson seperates his shoulder badly diving. I’m all for playing agressive but why are we being so agressive during Spring Training?
