I think questioning the future of a player is valid; but I think discounting actual performance is another thing all together. Let’s be happy for Matt and his contributions so far and hope they continue. If he continues to hit, we will have depth and god knows we ‘re going to need it

On behalf of those of us who had the faith in Matt Adams…. All those arguments with Rich last year seem to have panned out. The kid can hit ML pitching. He can hit it hard.

What a nice week. What a great game yesterday. A HR, a double, even the outs were sizzlers. One taken off the wall the other a line drive straight to CF, like a bullet.

I can see the kid returning to Memphis after Craig’s return, but, the questions are all but answered. The kid can play baseball in the major leagues. For those who had the faith… Good on ya.

They were rules as a line out but it was more a fisted line drive. The two hardest hit balls was the DP in the first on the line drive back to Rosenthal and the line drive out in the 4th.

The run occurred due to allowing a steal of 3rd followed by a sac fly. Effective, but probably pitched better in games with worse results – got some line outs. Finished with 86 pitches. I heard it was very hot and humid and it was a day game. After his last outing with over 100 pitches, it doesn’t look like they wanted to push it.
