BR, he always seemed to love the pressure situation, however, he needs to accept the role that is given to him and I don’t think he does. I have watched him for years and he just seems to be a better pitcher when he has that control. He may be one of those that needs a change. If that is the role best suited for him, than let him fly.

We aren’t the only ones who noticed that, so do his teammates.

Very rarely do the cards send down an established player (I don’t think that Tony believed in that) for a tune up that has been on the 25 man and made an impact. But then again this is a new era.

I think there’s more to it. Like last year when they sent down Boggs, it was because he got on Duncan’s bad side, he needed some down time.

I have had this thought before. It’s almost like he needs the pressure situation. Or he wants the recognition that comes with being a closer.

Sometimes I wonder if he isn’t a little upset that he was removed from that role last season because he wasn’t throwing all that bad (from what I can remember) at the time. I hope he realizes that he played an absolutely huge role on that team not only during the regular season, but also during the playoffs.

Yea this doesn’t make much sense. First we need to know w hen fangraph people saw Jenkins. His mechanics are surely different between his MLB draft video and now. If they compare that it is surely different. And he’s like any other person he can crank it up to 95 when needed but can also sit at 90-91. He’s got knocked around a few times yea but that is expected.
