Where’s the day three live blog?!
Any rumors about when Martinez could make his AA debut?

So far today we’ve drafted a Matheny and a Gallardo. I can guess there are bloodlines with Tate Matheny; Any chance Steven Gallardo is related to the Brewers #1?

    • DT Flush says:

Tate won’t sign. I could see him still going to Missouri State I think he wants lot’s of money.

      • Andrew says:

Good, if he’s past the 10th that money is needed for Carson Kelly and Trey Williams.

      • Vision says:

He definitely won’t sign. He’ll go to Missouri State. Mike actually asked the Cardinals not to draft Tate, but after his bonus demands became known he thought he wouldn’t be drafted at all.

There’s a strong possibility the Cards drafted him so that he would be able to say he was drafted by his hometown team.

    • Karmaloop says:

I don’t know for sure, but I don’t think that Gallardo is related to the Brewers starter.

Skippers son. Post Dispatch wrote and article on this. Matheny asked the organization not to take his son. He is committed to Missouri State. Not sure what type of upside is attached to Tate. If he is anything like his dad, he is a tough, smart ball player.

    Hey guys.

I know (I think) you said you were only going to do a single post update for rounds 11-20 etc., but given that the guys we drafted in rounds 11 and 12 are both probably better prospects than anyone we drafted after the second round, I wonder if it would be possible to get individual posts up for the Williams and Foody picks? I seem to recall there was a specific Austin Wilson post when we drafted him in the 12th.
