Two notes: (1) I think I’ve worked out all the remaining bugs in the site with the exception of the one that I experience. That one is probably a result of my office firewall. I’ll have to brush up on my HTML again since the WYSIWYG editor no longer functions for me. (2) We’re in full swing with the short season clubs as Johnson City opens today.

Memphis @ Omaha, 7:05pm – Brandon Dickson
Springfield @ Arkansas, 7:10pm – Richard Castillo
Palm Beach @ Chattanooga, 6:30pm – Anthony Ferrara
Quad Cities: Midwest League All Star Game
Batavia @ Auburn, 6:30pm – TBA
Johnson City vs. Greeneville, 7:00pm – TBA

Would like to see Castillo continues his success this season tonight. He has pitched 6 consecutive quality starts in his first 6 starts at Springfield pretty impressive. His numbers don’t lie either 4-1 2.35 ERA 38 IP 9 BB 25 K and a impressive 2.24. GO/AO ratio and is yet to surrender a HR yet in his six starts in the launching pad of Texas League. Anyone got some scouting information on Castillo really has upped his prospect status.

No where else to post this so I’ll just put it here. I think it would be a good a idea to make a post about notable players on short season and complex teams.

Are we going to be including GCL stats for the review of the day?

C.J. McElroy is playing centerfield and leading off. Lance Jeffries is playing RF and is hitting third. Steve Bean is catching and hitting sixth. Carson Kelly is playing third and batting seventh.
