Some interesting names going tonight in the upper minors.
Love it when high upside kids pitch on the same day. Today we have Miller and Martinez going, and to a lesser extent, Ferrara. One can easily see those three in the bigs some day.
Dail Villanueva seems like he could be very interesting too
yep i’m intrigued by him..he’s been pitching pretty well lately and of course is a lefty
Definitely young power arms with some upside. With be interesting to see if Miller can figure out not just ride on his fastball 80% because hitters just sit dead read on it. Martinez has been pitching well of late must be that less violence in his delivery hiding the ball well that has been giving him so much success of late.
Although inefficient, Shelby went five, only let up one hit, but walked three. Definitely encouraging, though.
Definitely is encouraging. Hopefully that will give him some confidence to be consistent because he still has the great stuff and upside.
That’s the best outing he’s had in some time. Hopefully it leads to some sustained performance and we can all take a deep breath and anxiously await his debut in St. Louis
Watching Marte in the STL pen makes me think Shelby deserves a look
AMEN,AMEN,AMEN!!!
He is struggling in Memphis. Why do we think he can be successful in STL? And it starts his clock toward Arbitration. If he is a stud, that is a waste to me.
