Some very talented young arms with very good stuff on the mound tonight. Hopefully Miller stays consistent and pitches efficient instead of inefficient in this game. Also hope Martinez continues the success with the less violent delivery and continues to polish up.
Did anyone else notice Johnson Cities schedule this weekend? Three games at Elizabeth town, then one home game on Friday, then back to Elizabethton on Saturday, followed by a game in Princeton on Sunday. So very random.
I’m pretty sure it’s a 15 minute drive from the Johnson City stadium to Elizabethton. Probably not as hectic as it may seem.
You’re right, the entire time I was thinking elizabethton, North Carolina, which made it seem really absurd. Wow, I really am terrible at geography.
Carlos Martinez hit 101 on the stadium gun in Tulsa. It can be a little hot sometimes but it would be safe to say at least 98. He generates such easy velocity.
