second that azru, a day or 2 ago i expressed doubt that Ferrara or Seigrist have much chance in the majors as starters but maybe they could make it in the pen.

I just read recently that one executive said miller was not in very good pitching shape (not sure how Overwight, under, lost muscle or what) and that the stuff coming out of his hand was just not what it use to be. Forgot where i saw that but kind of worriesome.

Although I’m very concerned i’m not ready to give up on him at all and I still think he has solid #2 starter celing.

Extremely heartening to see such great performances from Miller and Wacha. I really hope Miller turns the corner here. He’s still very young, so it’s not cataclysmic to see him struggle a bit this year, but it’s still unspeakably more assuring to see him pitch the way he did last night than how he has most of this season.

Middling strikeout rates, midling walk rates. Unless they move him to the pen and he moves forward as a reliever, I don’t see him advancing to the majors.

Mozeliak told post dispatch last week that they will leave Taveras in Double A for the playoff stretch and that he’s only 20 years old.

I still think Siegrist gets no respect. Not a purposeful slight…just that the kid is going to have a bigger impact than folks think.
