as a comp of guys drafted late, allen craig started out of college in batavia and didn’t play palm beach until age 23 (putting up a 147 wRC+). david freese had a quick stop in low A ball, and then posted a 152 wRC+ at A ball at 23.

piscotty is 21, ramsey 22 (23 in december). so, i think their numbers about right. they are being thrown in the deep end as prospects go. they also should both get another 100 PAs or so, which will tell us more.

piscotty has a 133 wRC+, ramsey a 123 wRC+. those seem like pretty respectable numbers to put up in one’s first 100 PAs of full-season ball right out of college.

OT will still be in the minors at season end. He’s only 20 years old let him experience the playoff run in SPF.

Parks had OT #2 behind Profar and said he’d take him as the #1 hitter to profile as middle of the order in the minor leagues.
