I believe the Kelly on the top 10 list is the 2012 2nd round pick, not Joe Kelly. Before anyone puts G. Garcia ahead of Wong, remember, he is a year older and at Wongs age was playing at AA.

Not sure Berkman’s absence will have a lot of impact on Adams. Robinson has been added to the 25 man. As long as Craig and Beltran are able to play, Adams is probably best utilized in Memphis.

Kelly is almost assuredly no longer going to be a prospect.

Tyrell Jenkins just turned 20 years old a little over a month ago and is in his first year of full season ball. He hasn’t lost any ground.

Garcia had about a year in the system longer than Wong and during that time, he mostly played 2b.

Not yet, but possibly soon. Kelly won’t be a “prospect” after this year, Adams may not either, depending on how long Berkman is out, and I think Jenkins has lost some ground this season. I don’t think it’s inconceivable that Garcia could come in at the very bottom of the top-10 list for next year. His stock has definitely risen.

An interesting idea (rotation to take advantage of platoon splits). I like it. Didn’t realize Greg Garcia had played so much 2B. That only ads to the intrigue. In my view, the guy has hit his way into the discussion of the Cardinals future MI plans. But Springfield is Springfield (and the Texas League is the Texas League), the field of dreams. Only time will tell how each of the players turns out as a prospect. Next year at AAA will be interesting for Garcia and Wong. I wonder if Jackson will be with the Cards in 2013 or still in AAA? If so, Garcia has to start somewhere. Wong has to start. Maybe they try to Garcia at 3B if Jackson is still in AAA to start the year.

Rondon was consistenly 97 mph when he pitched in Midland on July 8
