Quad Cities will have competion for first base next season with De la Cruz, Washington, Steenstra and Shaffer all possibilities. At 24, Steenstra may get a shot at PB with his strong showing this year. Switching Bean and Ehrlich has been a good move as Bean is now hitting over .300 and Ehrlich has really been hot, hitting better than he did in the gcl.

Thanks for the update about Williamsport pitchers Brady, Martinez, and Aizinstadt. Stephen Inch is now disappointed he wasn’t included.

I didn’t know we were reduced to making up names for this report, and not just Manaure. See the ones that follow “him.” The time might have been spent more profitably by noticing that Palm Beach played two games yesterday and won the second 3-2 with an effective start by Hald. Granted, not as amusing, however.
