Wow.

No, he’s not going to set the world on fire, but Antonio DeJesus has a few things going for him:

• 15% walk rate, .87 walk to strikeout ratio last season at Palm Beach
• + 16 runs in 85 games playing center field. He also was rated by Baseball America as the SEC’s best defensive outfielder in college.
• Plus speed.

I would say his upside is a .255/.350/.355 hitter with fantastic defense. That’s not really good enough to be a regular, but for a 5th outfielder, I’ll take it. Not shabby for a 16th round pick.
